1953         Graduated from U.S.C., with a B.S. in Psychology and a General Elementary and Kindergarten Primary Teaching Credentials

 

1953 - 1959    Taught -third grade in Manhattan Beach City Schools, California

 

1960-1965    Helped organize and start Northridge Park Cooperative Nursery School, Inc. Held various offices as well as Corporation President during six years of participation.

 

1967-1973     Employed at Progress Industries, Inc. as Office Manager and Security Officer (Held a U.S. Secret Clearance).

 

1974 -1980    Substitute taught Kindergarten through eight grade in various school districts in Orange County.

 

1971-1985     Half owner and Corporate secretary for Progress Industries, Inc. an engineering firm that designed and manufactured computer controlled training devices for the U.S. Military.

 

1972-Present Member of Orange County Philharmonic Society. President of Islander chapter 1989-1990 and President of Admiralty chapter 2018 to Present both in Huntington Harbour bringing fine music to Orange county schools and theaters.

 

1985-Present Member of La Casa and La Familia (support groups of Orangewood Children and Family Center.

I speak easily with people of all levels: professional, executive, office staff, technical staff, volunteer and social groups.

 

I was happily married for 36 years until my husband passed away. I have three wonderful children, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren with whom I am lucky to be very close to and active with.
